As of September 2019, there are more than 6000 Credit Unions in the United States. In partnership with Best Companies Group, Credit Union Journal ranks the top 50 in areas like Workplace Culture and Employee Retention. This year, Simplicity CU ranked 7th in their asset size and 25th nationwide in the annual Credit Union Journal survey.
It’s no surprise to the Simplicity CU Team that employee benefits, equitable policies, and solid HR practices make for a healthy work environment, but that’s not the whole story. In fact, those things only make up 25% of the possible score. The other 75% of a Credit Union’s score came from a confidential employee survey that weighed employee’s feelings about topics like recognition and employee appreciation, unique perks of the job, fun in the workplace, and why they love to work for their employer.
Simplicity CU team members have a number of reasons to enjoy their jobs including monthly after-business-hours employee networking ‘yappy hour’ events, yearly ‘Stay View’ employee interviews focused on employee retention, and themed dress-up days."
Sure, you might be saying, it’s nice to know that Simplicity CU is a great place to work, but what’s in it for us, your members and fans?
Fair question, friend, and we have an answer! People that feel challenged, rewarded, and valued at work are happy people.
