Youth Savings

• 7.00% APY* on balances up to $2,500

Simplicity Credit Union offers these types of Individual Retirement Accounts.

Traditional IRA

• Tax deductible contributions. Available to anyone under age 70 1/2 with earned income compensation.

Roth IRA

• No age limit, but you must have earned income to contribute. Contributions are nondeductible, and may be withdrawn tax-free.

Coverdell Education Savings Account

• Contributions limited to $2000 per year per child. Offers the potential for tax-free withdrawals, including earnings.

IRA Account Savings

• Minimum deposit of $5, add to your account at any time.
• No administration fee
• Dividend rates may change quarterly
• Dividends compounded and paid quarterly
• No maturity period

Fixed Rate Share Certificates

• Minimum deposit of $250
• No administration fee
• Automatic renewal for same term at current rate
• Dividends compounded monthly for six month terms
• Dividends compounded quarterly for 12, 24, 36, 48, and 60 month terms
• NOTE: Substantial penalty for early withdrawal for fixed rate share certificates.
