“Marshfield, Wis., December 2nd, 2021 –
Simplicity Credit Union, headquartered in Marshfield, WI, is grateful for the opportunity to donate $25,000 to the Celebrate Plover Foundation toward renovations to Lake Pacawa Park. The project will include a six-thousand square foot inclusive and ADA accessible Splash and Play area, beach and lakefront renovations, and a paved multi-use trail around Lake Pacawa.
“We value inclusivity at work and at play.” Says Nick Faber, Simplicity CEO, “And we’re excited to help fund a project in the Plover area that will make it a destination for our families, friends, and neighbors for years to come.”
This donation, along with capital donations from other generous community partners will enhance the beauty of Lake Pacawa in Plover, Wisconsin by improving access for people of all abilities and welcoming families from around the area to enjoy this cultural center of the community."
Why is this so exciting? Besides the fact that we LOVE having the chance to support great causes in our communities (which is 100% true) the Lake Pacawa project is something truly special for the Plover area!
Members of the Simplicity Team had the chance to visit the site recently with Dan Mahoney, the Plover Village Board President, and other folks from the Lake Pacawa project committee to learn more. Check out the pictures of that visit below for more details.
