Simplicity CU Again Named Among the Best Credit Unions to Work For

For a fourth year, Simplicity CU has been named one of the Best Credit Unions to Work For in the United States by American Banker.

“We’re proud to be able to accept this award again this year.” said Nick Faber, Simplicity CEO, “The credit goes to everyone on the Simplicity Team for their contributions in making us an employer of choice.”

In partnership with Best Companies Group, American Banker ranked the top 55 Credit Unions in areas like Workplace Culture and Employee Retention. This year, Simplicity CU ranked 14th in their asset size and 34th nationwide in the annual survey.

As a part of the application process, Credit Unions are assessed based on workplace policies, practices, and procedures, but that’s not the whole story. In fact, those things only make up 25% of the possible score. The other 75% of a Credit Union’s score came from a confidential employee survey that weighed employee’s feelings about topics like recognition and employee appreciation, unique perks of the job, fun in the workplace, and why they love to work for their employer.

Some of the notable perks highlighted the Simplicity CU Team surveys in 2021 highlighted Simplicity’s commitment to their employee’s emotional and financial health through 2020 and beyond. Examples include no-interest emergency loans and virtual get-togethers that employees were offered during the height of the pandemic as well as the option for an early payout in the case of terminal illness on the employer-paid life insurance policy.
