The role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is crucial to a thriving Credit Union, and James Nowak of Edgar, WI, is excited to take on this new challenge for the Simplicity CU, headquartered in Marshfield Wisconsin.
Nowak, who began his financial services career as a teller at Marshfield Medical Center Credit Union and most recently served as COO of First State Bank, brings 15 years of financial experience to his position as CFO.
“I have always had a passion for accounting,” Says Nowak, “and I’m very happy being back in a role that better suits my skills.”
As an active community volunteer and parent, Nowak is no stranger to leadership roles. He will oversee the financial health and viability of the Credit Union and Exclamation Services, their Credit Union Service Organization.
