At Simplicity Credit Union, we believe in people helping people and there’s no better way to bring that to life than by investing in the next generation!
Each year, our Community Scholarship program awards five, $1,000 scholarships to high school aged students and two, $1,000 scholarships to students who are already in post-secondary education. Each student is truly outstanding and highlights the great work they are doing across each community Simplicity CU serves. These scholarships go beyond academics, they recognize individuals who lead with strong values, give back to those around them, and are committed to making a difference in their schools and communities.
This year, we’re proud to celebrate a group of students who truly embody what it means to live out our core values!
- Brogan Anfinson – Stevens Point Area High School
- Camryn Nelson – Marshfield High School
- Ryan Kuester – Neillsville High School
- Delia Trader – Columbus Catholic High School (Marshfield)
- Raya Kersten – Neenah High School
- Monica Kurszewski – University of Wisconsin Stevens Point
- Ariahna Lemler – Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing
From a student pursuing Music Education and championing creativity in the classroom, to a future performer driven to bring joy and authenticity to others through musical theater, these recipients are turning passion into purpose. We’re also honoring a future neurologist whose compassion for others is shaping a path toward meaningful impact in healthcare, as well as a dedicated student-athlete who leads by example and is committed to building positive experiences within the world of sports.
Across each of their stories, one thing stands out: a deep commitment to values like Creativity, Integrity, and Leadership. Whether it’s mentoring younger students, volunteering in their communities, performing on stage, or preparing for careers that serve others, these students are truly making a difference!
Our Community Scholarship program is about more than financial support. It’s about recognizing potential, removing barriers, and empowering students to continue pursuing what drives them. We’re proud to play a small part in their journey and can’t wait to see the impact they’ll have in the years ahead.
To all of our 2026 scholarship recipients – congratulations! Your hard work, character, and commitment to others inspire us, and we’re honored to support you as you take your next steps.
Here’s to the future, and to the people who are already making it brighter.
